Can flat-faced dogs fly to Tenerife?
Many airlines restrict or refuse brachycephalic breeds as cargo because of breathing risk at altitude. Where that applies we will say so plainly and discuss alternatives, including delaying the move or travelling your pet with you in cabin on an approved route.
How long does a pet flight to Tenerife take?
Around four and a half hours in the air from the UK, plus check-in and collection time. In practice it is a single travel day rather than the 40-plus hours a road and sea route would take.
