Entry into Spain requires an ISO microchip, valid rabies vaccination with a 21-day waiting period, and an EU Pet Passport or endorsed Animal Health Certificate. Dangerous dog breeds face local handling and licensing requirements.
France mandates microchip identification, current rabies vaccination with a 21-day wait, and an EU passport or AHC. Stringent import bans apply to Category 1 dangerous dog breeds.
